Yes, the application can be saved.

A committee consisting of senior HR, Sustainability and Agility Business Unit executives will review all applicants, and short-list final candidates. At least three short-listed candidates will be interviewed by an executive committee, and at least one final candidate will be awarded the scholarship.

The Agility Fellows Scholarship is an undergraduate university scholarship for dependent children of Agility employees. Funding can cover the cost of university tuition, fees, housing, books, laptops and similar expenses related to undergraduate university education. It has been established to assist bright stars from Agility employee families to complete a bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical degree at an accredited university. The scholarship in intended to expand access to undergraduate university degrees and it will be awarded without discrimination on race, sex, age, ethnicity, religion, nationality, or any other similar factor.

The scholarship is open to dependent children of Agility employees in good standing who are less than 25 years old and who have been accepted to or enrolled in an accredited university for undergraduate studies, and who have also fully completed and submitted the Fellows scholarship application on time. The scholarship will be awarded to selected applicants that are graduating 12th level/senior high school, or selected applicants that are enrolled university students. 

The student’s parent employee must have at least one year of good-standing employment with either Agility Africa, Agility Corporate, Agility E Services, Agility Logistics Parks, Shipa Freight, Shipa ecommerce, Menzies Aviation or PWC Technologies. Good standing employment means that the employee has not violated the company disciplinary code and is not working while having been given a final disciplinary warning as per the company’s disciplinary code.

Yes. The scholarship will be awarded to graduating 12th level/senior year high school students or existing undergraduate university students. High school student applicants must have been accepted to at least one university to which they have committed to attend or will commit to attending.

The awardee must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited university or academic program.  University or academic program accreditation organizations may include INQAAHE, ENQA, APQN, USDE, USCHEA, ANQAHE, NAAC, NBA, AACSB, ABET, IACBE, QAHE, ASIC and equivalent or similar bodies.

The Fellows program is limited to undergraduate education because the goal is to expand access to university degrees. Undergraduate studies in technical fields such as law, medicine, architecture, etc. are in scope for the Fellows program. Advanced or post-graduate degrees that typically follow a bachelor’s degree, such as a masters, doctoral or some post-graduate technical degrees in law, medicine, architecture, etc. are out of scope for this scholarship program. Certification programs in vocational/ technical fields such as welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical or similar fields are out of scope for this scholarship program.

Agility will provide at least one scholarship per year up to 75,000 USD (for the award year 2026.)  As described above, awarded scholarships are renewed annually to cover the typical time required to complete an undergraduate university degree.  Scholarship funding is intended to cover tuition,  university fees,  books & required school supplies, living and other authorized expenses.

The scholarship is awarded annually but is intended for use throughout the period of studies required to complete the bachelor’s degree or equivalent.  The scholarship is for up to 75,000 USD for each year of the awardee’s studies.  For example, in the case of four-year bachelor’s degree program, the awardee would be eligible to receive up to 75,000 USD to cover authorized expenses during each year of study. Over a four-year period the total maximum value of the scholarship is up to 300,000 USD, including up to 75,000 USD disbursed annually during the period of studies for authorized expenses (75,000 x 4 years = 300,000 USD total).   For example, if a university awards a bachelor’s degree after three years of studies, the scholarship would be available during each of the three years of undergraduate study.  Similarly, if the university awards a bachelor’s degree based on a four-year schedule, the scholarship would be available for each of the four years of undergraduate study.  In some regions, a technical degree in law, medicine or other technical fields may be awarded after five years of undergraduate study.  In such cases the up to 75,000 USD scholarship would be available during each of the five years of study.

This is a conditional scholarship for the period the university typically requires to complete the bachelor’s or equivalent technical degree.  In some regions a bachelor’s degree is completed in three years, but in other locations it may be four years, and for some technical degrees it may be five years in duration. This means that the scholarship would cover from three to five years depending on the academic program.

To maintain continuous eligibility, the student must:

1. Maintain a full course-load during the school sessions/calendars per university requirements (i.e. in the USA or UK the regular school term runs from September through May and during this term period the student must complete at least X credit hours of study to be considered a full-time student per the university’s policy); 

AND

2. Maintain an average GPA of 3.5 or above (or equivalent in the relevant country) over the course of each academic year to receive a scholarship the following year. 

The student will be required to provide any requested documentation on a year-on-year basis to keep the scholarship going for the next year. 

Agility will award at least one, four-year Fellows scholarship as outlined above.  In some cases, the scholarship awardee may not require the full 75,000 USD per year scholarship.  In such cases, budget permitting, additional partial or full scholarships may be considered for runners-up applicants – up to the total budget cap allocated in any given year.  Additional scholarship awards will be made at the discretion of Agility, and only in cases where budget is available.  Additional scholarship awards adhere to the same program requirements in terms of eligibility, award criteria, duration, disbursals, and any other program requirements.

The scholarship is based on financial need, academic performance, extra-curricular activities, essay completion and interview performance. An ideal candidate will be someone that would potentially struggle to be able to attend a university without some financial assistance but also be a strong academic candidate with a well-rounded background and admission to an accredited university. 

Award criteria include: 

1. Full completion of the scholarship application
2. Financial need: Students with greater financial need will receive preference, provided they are academically high performing.
3. Academic Merit: High school or university grade point average
4. Well-roundedness: Participation in extra-curricular activities (sports, clubs, societies, community volunteering, class officers, employment, etc.)
5. Essay performance
6. Interview performance

Please review the below requirements in detail prior to starting your application.  You must fully complete the scholarship application and provide all required supporting documentation to be considered for award. If you are considering applying you will need to prepare the following information and documents before starting the application:

• A copy of your ID card and/or passport
• Basic information about your parent’s employment with Agility, including company, location, etc.
• An estimation of the last three months salary or earnings from both parents. This would be based on your parents’ employee pay slips or other earnings records from their  employers. If a parent is self-employed the application would require an estimate of the self-employed parent’s annual taxable income. During final award assessment the estimated parental income must be justified by the submittal of actual income records which may be requested by Agility.
• Copies of the last four grade reports from secondary/high school
• Copies of any relevant university acceptance letters
• Line-item estimated costs for attending the university including:  Tuition, fees, on-campus housing, on-campus meals, books, required technology hardware or devices, student activities and other required university costs.   The estimated costs must be justified by official documents from the university which can be submitted after award decision.
• For applicants currently attending university, copies of the most recent grade reports/transcripts
• Copies of any other scholarship, financial aid or similar award letters or notices
• Copies of any awards, commendations, certificates of achievement or similar academic or social recognitions
• Copies of any documents that may be related to required essays you must complete for this application
• Copies of any letters of recommendation, performance appraisals or recognition from any employers
• Copies of any letters of recommendation from any other scholarship non-family member references, such as teachers, counselors, associates, etc.
• Essays – Each applicant must complete a written essay.  Use of artificial intelligence for completing the essay is not allowed.  Please prepare your essay in advance of completing your application.  The essay question is: What is the most significant goal you hope to achieve during your higher education, and how do you intend to achieve it?

Once a scholarship winner has been chosen, the Agility Corporate HR and Finance teams will work with the winner’s Agility-employee parent and the scholarship winner to manage distribution of the scholarship funding. In order to distribute any funding, the winner must submit the following documents in order for any funds to be disbursed:

1. All records and information required or identified in the application
2. Proof of acceptance to a university including a university admission letter or proof of enrollment in a qualified university, and a point of contact at the university admission offices that Agility can contact around scholarship disbursement processes.
3. Authorization from the winner for the Agility HR and Administrative team to confirm university acceptance and/or enrollment
4. Copies of any required university invoices to substantiate and execute payments
5. Proof of courses completion
6. Other similar and required information

No. The Agility Fellows Scholarship provides reimbursement for eligible educational expenses upon submission and approval of supporting invoices, in accordance with the program requirements. Scholarship recipients are solely responsible for understanding and complying with any tax laws, reporting requirements, or tax liabilities that may apply in their country or jurisdiction. Agility does not provide tax advice and will not reimburse, pay, or cover any taxes, duties, or similar charges that may arise in connection with a scholarship award.

Agility reserves the right to terminate scholarships under the following conditions:

Acts of the Agility-employee parent

1. Conduct that results in for-cause termination of employment for the awardee’s Agility-employee parent.

Acts of the scholarship awardee

1. Failure to maintain the required grades or GPA of 3.5 or higher,
2. Failure to enroll into the university or academic program,
3. Failure to maintain full-time student status by enrolling and completing the required number of classes, courses or credit hours indicating full-time status as defined by the university,
4. Expulsion from the university,
5. Being placed on academic probation or similar academic sanctions for not meeting academic standards,
6. Violations of the university’s student code of conduct or ethics,
7. Engaging in criminal activities (being convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor), or
8. Similar events or activities.

In 2026 the online scholarship application process is open from June 15th to July 15th to give students a chance to hear from their universities of choice, as well as to enable applicants studying in regions that do not complete the university application and acceptance process until mid-July.

It will likely take a few hours to complete, including the required  essay question.

In 2026 we are aiming for announcements in early September.  While some students would prefer earlier award notifications, please keep in mind that Agility has operations around the world and each country manages its academic calendar differently.  We have set the Fellows application and assessment calendar to give as many students as possible opportunities to apply and be considered for scholarship award.
